What are Auckland FC Football Schools?
Auckland FC Football School is the official football training programme of Auckland FC, designed for boys and girls aged 7-13 of all abilities. Our weekly programmes and school holiday camps focus on skill development, confidence and having fun in a professional, supportive environment.
Who can join the programme?
Any child aged 7-13 is welcome — no matter their skill level or playing experience. We also offer dedicated girls-only groups at selected venues.
What does my child need to bring?
We will provide your child with an Auckland FC training shirt and shorts on their first day. Please ensure your child brings football socks, shin pads, boots, running shoes, a drink bottle and any medication they may need.
What should I do if I need to cancel a session?
Please let us know at your earliest convenience if your child is not able to attend a session. You can do this by emailing footballschool@aucklandfc.co.nz
How are players grouped?
Players will be grouped by age groups. We provide a player pathway to ensure that each child is challenged appropriately to their individual learning requirements.
How much does a programme cost?
Pricing for our programmes varies by the type of camp and duration. Full details are available on each camp's registration page.

Does my child have to wear the training kit?
It’s compulsory to wear the Auckland FC training kit to all our programmes.
Who coaches the sessions?
Sessions are led by Auckland FC Football School coaches trained in the official Black Knights Football Group methodology - the same approach used at both Auckland FC & AFC Bournemouth.
All coaches hold a current Working With Children Check and complete Safeguarding training, ensuring every session is safe, professional, and designed to help players grow on and off the pitch.
Can parents watch the sessions?
Yes. Parents are always welcome to stay at the camp and watch their children.
